Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how TEO NON-QM (“TEO,” “we,” “us”) handles information on the website at teononqm.com (the “Website”) and in the TEO Non-QM application (the “Service”). By using the Website or the Service you acknowledge this Policy.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact and plan requests. When you use the form on the Website we receive your name, email address, phone number (optional), professional role, the plan you are interested in, billing preference and any message you write.
- Account information. When you subscribe, we collect the details needed to set up and manage your account and users, such as names, email addresses and company name.
- Payment information. Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider. We do not store full payment card numbers.
- Scenario and customer data. The Service lets you enter loan scenarios and keep customer records, which may include information about your borrowers. You decide what to enter. Please do not enter Social Security numbers, government ID numbers or bank account numbers; the Service does not need them.
Information collected automatically
- Server logs. Our hosting infrastructure records technical data such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and timestamps. We use it to operate and secure the Website and the Service.
- Cookies. The Website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. The Service uses essential cookies to keep you signed in and to protect your session.
- Fonts. The Website loads fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser requests them directly from Google, which receives your IP address under its own privacy policy.
2. How we use information
- To respond to your requests and provide demos, onboarding and support.
- To provide, maintain, secure and improve the Service.
- To process subscriptions, invoices and account administration.
- To send service-related messages, such as changes to your account or these policies.
- To comply with legal obligations and to protect our rights and users.
Borrower information. We process scenario and customer data on your behalf and only to provide the Service to you. We do not use it for our own marketing, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with lenders or pool it with other users.
3. How we share information
We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only with:
- Service providers that help us run the Website and the Service, under confidentiality and data-protection obligations. These include hosting, email delivery, form processing (the Website contact form is processed by Web3Forms) and payment processing.
- Authorities or other parties when required by law, legal process or to protect rights, safety and security.
- A successor in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
4. Retention
We keep information for as long as needed for the purposes above, for example while your account is active and afterwards as required for legal, tax and security reasons. Contact requests are kept for as long as needed to handle them. You can ask us to delete your information (see section 6).
5. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, including under California and other U.S. state privacy laws, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to access, correct or delete it, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. To make a request, email us at sales@teononqm.com. We may need to verify your identity, and we will respond within the time required by law.
If you are a borrower whose information was entered into the Service by a mortgage professional, please contact that professional directly. We act on their behalf and will refer your request to them.
7. Children
The Website and the Service are intended for business use by adults. They are not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
8. Where information is processed
Information may be processed and stored in the United States or in other countries where our service providers operate.
9. Third-party sites
The Website may mention or link to third-party sites, including lenders. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
10. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed. If we make material changes we will take reasonable steps to let you know.
